The Fish Emporium was a new business being established in Worcester. Based on the side of an established farm shop where fish was previously sold from a trailer.
The business was to transfer to a permanent building and become independent.
The brief was to create a brand for the business and support the owner to apply this as part of setting up the business.
One of the major challenges was enabling Rachel Steele, the owner to achieve what she wanted for her business with minimal impact on her time. She was running an existing shop whilst building the new one.
The first stage was to understand the essence of the business Rachel wanted to create to ensure that the branding reflected this. She was very clear on her vision, the feel she wanted to create and the values she applied to her business.
CleeCo took this and developed a range of branding options and recommending a marketing approach for the business. CleeCo also managed the production of all of the required collateral.
The Fish Emporium brand was created and in consultation with the owner CleeCo directed and managed the application of this to the business.
This included design, production and fitting of external signage to ensure the business stood out from the existing farm shop and was able to attract new customers as well as showing previous customers where to find them.
A website was developed and branded alongside two social media channels that were to work in tandem to communicate with customers and attract new business.
Photography was directed and project managed to provide all the images required for the marketing assets being produced and featuring all of the customers own product.
Flyers, uniforms and business cards were designed and printed.
CleeCo also supported the formal opening by writing and issuing a press release and managing the media interest received on behalf of The Fish Emporium.

There is so much to do when you are starting a new business. I know what I am doing with the business and supplying my customers with the very best seafood but the details of all the marketing on top of that made my head spin. Sarah was my ‘fairy godmother’.
