Working with a Dudley Colleague to establish a new Academies Trust. Jointly developing a marketing strategy, identity and role out plan to bring 4 secondary schools together and begin an improvement journey.
Understanding the ambitions of the new organisation alongside the short term objectives and challenges that needed it faced was the starting point. This was followed by workshops with the schools to understand their perspective and aspirations for this new partnership.
Collaboration was key to developing everything from the brand and values to a strategic plan and a marketing team where you could not tell in house from external. Working with the students we created a brand that everyone owned and on the back of this the students generated new names for their schools to signify the changes.
Working alongside the internal marketing team we developed a plan and supported the role out of the brand collateral and behaviours to the schools.
Within 12 months a new brand was created and introduced in time for the September term through collaboration with students, staff, suppliers and the College team. All four schools adopted the brand and their new names with huge positivity.
Schools were rebranded, films produced, websites created, prospectuses printed, adverts issued, learning tools generated. A wholistic new look and feel to accompany a new approach and style of education. The results were improved exam results in all 4 schools in the first year and that has continued to be achieve each subsequent year.
The Client Experience
Sarah and Rob have been a constant in our marketing delivery for the Dudley Academies Trust from the start, working collaboratively with us and the schools to create the new organisations brand. They have supported us to deliver wholescale changes to our schools ensuring the tools we needed were consistent with our brand while injecting fresh creative ideas. They are a trusted member of the team who are able to work in the schools seamlessly. Our internal brand application is one of the most visual ways to show their creative impact and it sets the tone for the work we have done together.
